Lineedge Preview 2.2
Hello,
unknown traveller! Here you can view the information about Lineedge
Preview 2.2. You can either download
EXE or view the changes list, screenshots and/or videos.
-
You can now swim in rivers. When swimming, the speed drops, you can
swim up or sink depending on where the camera is looking, you cannot
jump while swimming, only, unfortunately, during swimming, the player
does not change his pose. It's still too early to do a full-fledged
animation, and when you try to simply rotate the player's mesh along
the Roll axis, it not only instantly takes the previous pose, but all
auxiliary meshes are destroyed. So for now, the character will be
swimming in an unnatural pose.
-
Now the landscape does not stop painting after 100 meters - the
rendering range is radically increased and can exceed the current
dimensions of the landscape.
-
Another long-term construction is completed - the resource panel is
working! And in vain I delayed with this - it took quite a bit of
time.
-
The map has been updated to version 2 - now it displays the world
border, lake, rivers and new trees.
-
Solver has also been updated to version 2, which eliminates serious
errors when importing an account from Preview 2.0 - the game will
simply crash immediately after trying to log in. For the dull ones, I
repeat that this only happens when importing an outdated account,
otherwise they will write to me here that the game does not work.
-
Effects can now be applied to enemies.
-
Technical improvement - the controller now "possesses" the
character once, and not first in the empty one, and then in the
proper one, which is logical and architecturally correct. As a
consequence, many casts from Player to ProperPlayer have been
removed. The BlankPlayer and ProperPlayer classes have been removed,
leaving only the Player and specific classes of individual fighter
groups.
-
Fixed a small but unpleasant bug, due to which, when the label that
you can press Tab or Num 0 was lit, it was impossible to click on all
the main buttons of the game interface, including the exit menu
button.
-
The most important change in this version is that you can now learn
abilities! Of course, approximately 96.3% of abilities and 100%
of features are still in development, but DMT, SBIF, and Ultimate
Strike can already be explored. To learn them, you need S-boxes,
which so far can only be obtained from the White Star.
-
Learned abilities can be placed in special slots. Three options are
available: place an ability in a new slot, swap two abilities or an
ability and an empty slot, and remove an ability from the slot (for
this, you need to move it to any place outside the slots, except for
the slot for study). The abilities placed in these slots can be
applied to enemies with special keys (this is written in the tasks).
-
Unfortunately, after some actions with the list of tasks, its
reaction to clicks was broken, and now the wrong task is displayed,
which was clicked.
-
Added copyright information to the main menu with direct links to the
used proprietary resource sources.
